At Baselworld 2010, I had an opportunity to view the brand new Zenith El Primero Striking 10th timepiece, in gold. In recent years Zenith has got away from their core, that is more traditional timepieces. Underneath the direction of the new CEO, Jean- Dufour, they are returning to basics. And this, obviously, includes their famous EL Primero Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph movement. This past year, Zenith unveiled the vintage El Primero collection throughout the Basel show. Which was, undoubtedly, my personal favorite of the new collections.
